Nice things!

Nice things about my new office:

~it’s MINE, all MINE!

~I can dance in my chair all I want and no one will know. or care. ok, fine, i never had a problem doing this in front of my officemates, but it’s nice to not worry about the CEO walking in with investors. or new colleagues thinking i’m weird.

~I can lock the door and change for my weekly Pilates class and not the bathroom.

~It has an AC that actually cools off the space. And it the AC has a remote!*

~Everyone I work with has walked by and smiled and said something nice about me having my own space. Feels nice. And a client who I mentioned moving offices to inferred that I meant my “own” office and congratulated me too.

~I’m looking forward to getting some new furniture and my own coat hooks!

~I have some fun/pretty/nerdy things planned for the walls once the new furniture is in place

~I’ve managed to nab both my favorite poster and my favorite chair in the office for the space. Granted I’m probably the only person who works here who has a favorite poster and a favorite chair, but all the more reason I should have them in here.

*currently the remote does not have batteries, but I will remedy this
